The Government Commission gave its approval on 24 March 2022 to the 2022 call for applications for subsidies with the framework of the climate emergency in Barcelona for carrying out projects which, under the Climate Plan, now the Action Plan for the Climate Emergency for 2030, help to create and implement initiatives for effectively tackling climate change that are carried out by groups of three or more legal persons on a collaborative basis.

Legal persons are eligible for the subsidies provided they submit projects in groups of at least three entities and comply with the goals and requirements of sections 4, 5 and 6 of the Rules governing the awarding of financial aid for the implementation of projects within the framework of the Climate Plan.

The leading entity of the group must fill in and submit applications online through Barcelona City Council's e-Office, following the instructions stated on that procedures portal, in accordance with Article 14 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the administrative procedure of public administrations.

The application-submission period, initially planned to run from 31 March to 13 May, has been extended to 16 May (first and last days included).
