This call is aimed at premises for public use or cultural dissemination that have or are in the process of obtaining a permit authorising them to host live music performances, or at establishments that intend to carry out an acoustic impact study for the purposes of cooperating with the improvement or modernisation of Barcelona’s private cultural creation, production, dissemination and commerce establishments, or their adaptation to the city's current regulations in force.

Establishments that are adapting or intend to adapt their facilities for live music performances may apply for a subsidy under the following categories:

• Category A: Small-format venues, with a capacity of fewer than 150 people, cultural dissemination spaces, and similar (live music establishments, bars, cafés, restaurants etc.,), which intend to adapt their premises for the purposes of amplified live music performances.
• Category B: Medium- and large-format venues, such as concert halls, festival halls, music bars, discotheques, and similar, with a capacity of 150 people or more that host or intend to host amplified live music performances.

These subsidies may be applied for by natural or legal persons responsible for managing the spaces that will be the beneficiaries of the subsidies. The establishment must be located within the city of Barcelona and have made the investments in 2022 or will make them in 2023 and finish them before 30 September 2023.

It is mandatory for legal persons, under Article 14 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public authorities, to fill in and submit the application through the Online Procedures Office in Barcelona City Council’s e-Office. Under Article 14.1 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, natural persons may apply remotely, through the Online Procedures Office in Barcelona City Council’s e-office or face to face, having requested an appointment with a Citizen Help and Information Office (OAC) or with the Citizen Culture Office (OCCU).

The application-submission period: from 22 June to 20 July 2022 (first and last days included).
