Support for creative processes prior to production.

The Xarxa de Fàbriques de Creació de Barcelona announces the Barcelona Crea – Creation Factories Grants 2025, an initiative supported by the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) aimed at supporting the early stages of artistic creation: conceptualisation, development, research, experimentation, documentation, and rehearsal. These grants seek to boost the city’s cultural momentum by offering resources to nurture research and artistic innovation.

Each of the eleven creation centers that make up the Xarxa will launch its own Crea Grants, setting out specific guidelines and formats in line with its creative approach. In total, 32 grants will be awarded across the network, each worth €6,000. In addition, each factory will provide resources, space, and artistic mentorship.
