On April 27th, Hangar offers a new edition of Paratext, a reserved space for artists with scholarship or residents of Fàbrica de Creació to present, in different formats, projects or parts of their work in process of creation. These are open sessions to the public that promote participation and interaction with artists. In each Paratext, a storyteller is also involved, who later publishes in the blog his thoughts about the presentation. In this case, the publication will be carried out by Antonio Gagliano and Carolina Jimenez.

Aldo Urbano Perez will participate in this session, which, through painting, investigates the mechanisms of perception in search of a renewing experience, creating facilities where this type of vivence may be possible; Anna Irina Russell, whose artistic practice is based on the a research tool on codes and forms of communication and interaction. She creates absurd situations to decipher established social constructions; Julia Varela, whose work revolves around the social consumption of images and what we chose to see. She has worked on the subject of on-screen vision and the media in several series of works, as well as on the constrictions of the body and social space; Rosa Lupus, whose professional and artistic practice responds to the necessity of questioning the constructs that define and predefine the role of the designer in post-digital society. It uses research as a strategy to observe contemporarity, paying particular attention to creative processes and representation policies.
