'Pedagogical Policies in Art'
Invitations are now open to participate in this laboratory activity taught by Diana Rangel
The laboratory Polítiques de pedagogia en l'art (Pedagogical Policies in Art) is organising a training conference for artists, teachers, researchers and intermediaries which envisages the possibility of discussing in depth the subject of participation, pedagogy and mediation in connection with artistic practice. Over six sessions working groups will be created made up of delegates and invited speakers focused on the exchange of ideas, a review of practice and different methodologies that aim to respond to considerations emerging from the direct experiences of the attendees themselves.
The sessions will be directed and coordinated by artist and psychologist Diana Rangel. This project has been enabled with the help of one of the Research and Artistic Experimentation Grants awarded this year by La Escocesa. Conclusions and issues raised in this laboratory will be gathered in a publication on which the artist has been working since 2016.
Pedagogical Policies in Art will take place on the 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 July from 6-9 pm at the Escocesa. Those interested in participating should send their CV and a letter of intent to info@laescocesa.org before 22 June. For more information, please consult La Escocesa’s website.
