Grants for production-research

The Institut Ramon Llull, the New Art Foundation, the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), La Caldera and Hangar are opening a call to award five grants for production-research for artistic pieces in the area where art, science and technology converge.

 

Two categories available:

Category 1: Four production-research grants each worth €5,600 for production and €1,400 in fees (gross).

Category 2: One production grant funded by the Col·lecció BEEP worth €9,400 for production and €1,600 in fees (gross).

 

The projects chosen can be presented as part of the Ars Electronica 2021 festival.

 

The call is part of the residency programme of Hac Te, the Barcelona art, science and technology hub with participants including the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) and other centres affiliated to the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST).
