Discover this practice that studies the ecosystem and explores the hidden life of the fauna of Montjuïc!

Bird ringing is a method that consists of placing numbered metal rings on the legs of wild birds to try to determine their movements and obtain information about them, such as their survival rate or the degree of affinity for a specific location, among others. Montjuïc is a place where this study provides valuable information because it is a natural reserve for the reintroduction of species and is of enormous importance for the urban biodiversity and birdlife of Barcelona. 

This activity is associated with the Urban Nature classroom. The Montjuïc mountain's fauna, a space with a didactic approach that contributes to the knowledge of the place's ecological value and the conservation of natural environments. 

The activity costs 4 euros and is free for children under 8 years old.
