By curator Marta Martín Núñez, Ignasi Prat and Toni Amengual.
New guided tour of the exhibition "Echoes of memory. Photobooks of the present". The exhibition, curated by Marta Martín Núñez and made up of 40 photobooks, aims to bring the public closer to the map that, in the last twenty years, has been reconstructed, giving voice to a silenced memory that other generations have not been able or have not wanted to express. These views build from a certain emptiness - that of uncomfortable family silences, institutionalized oblivion or the absence of references - and a certain distance - that of being the clean men and women who have grown up in democracy - the legacy of a traumatic past resonates like an echo in their bodies.
The curator, with Ignasi Prat and Toni Amengual, will offer a guided tour at 11am. An opportunity to discover the first archive that recovers, catalogues, analyzes and gives public visibility to a series of contemporary photographic practices that highlight a way of recovering the memory of war and its victims based on photographic research and artistic creation.
