The spring programme of the Castle of Montjuïc is now ready. A new temporary exhibition, two series of cultural activities and the Night of Museums will be the highlights of the Castle during the months of April, May and June.
The spring programme will start with the series of family activities 2017. On Sundays in April (the 2nd, the 9th, the 16th and the 30th) and in May (the 7th , the 14th, the 21st and the 28th), the Castle will host shows aimed at the whole family with activities such as circus workshops, a giant maze and concerts among others.
On April 6th it will be the opening of the temporary exhibition "Montjuïc, 100 years of poster design" located at room 20 of the Parade Ground. An exhibition which reviews the history of the mountain and the activities that had taken place in it since the late nineteenth century.
On May 20th the Castle will participate at the Night of Museums, celebrating a doors open day from 7pm to 1am. Free guided tours and various activities will take place to commemorate such a special night.
The "Nights at the Castle" series will close the spring programme, offering 3 evening shows on Fridays in June (the 2nd, the 9th and 16th). The Castle will open its doors to everybody from 8pm to midnight. The circus of the Ateneo Popular de 9 Barris, the performance of The Last Cabaret and the concert of the Excitements will lead the audience to start summer full of strength and energy.
