The second edition of 'Viu Montjuïc, the Parc de la Cultura' is coming on 8 and 9 October, a weekend with more than 60 activities co-organized by the Montjuïc facilities and the surrounding entities. It is a matter of taking advantage of this open, accessible, clean and safe space with a cultural, nature and quality leisure offer for all citizens.
In this space you will be able to consult the activities that we have organized at Montjuïc Castle, as well as make advance reservations for those activities that require it.
GUIDED TOURSThe guided routes inside the Montjuïc Castle grounds give a historical and heritage view of the fortress. A mediator will talk to visitors to make known the memory, history and heritage contents of the Castle. The visit goes through all the spaces of the building, both those that are outside, such as the armory, and those that are not normally open to visitors, such as the old cistern or the dungeons.

CAMINA MONTJUÏCThe routes of CAMINA MONTJUÏC are itineraries that want to connect the natural, cultural and historical environment of the mountain with citizens. This initiative aims to place Montjuïc Park in the imagination of Barcelona women.

SATURDAY 8
- 10:30 a.m. - Route 1: "Montjuïc in time." General tour through the history of the Montjuïc mountain, from the Iberians to the present day through the Roman quarries, the construction of the Castle, the universal exhibition of '29 and the '92 Olympic Games. A route to discover the importance of the mountain for the city of Barcelona.
- 17:00h - Route 2: "Bodies and space: the sculpture of public space in terms of gender." Guided route through the different sculptures in Parc de Montjuïc, to learn about their history and reflect on the representation of bodies in public space, from a gender perspective, and how this representation influences society's collective imagination.
- 17:00h - Jewish cemetery route: The remains of the old medieval Jewish cemetery in Barcelona are opened in an exceptional way for a day as special as Viu Montjuïc. A specialist in the subject will give a guided tour of this space located at the top of the mountain, next to the Mayor's viewpoint.
SUNDAY 9
- 10:30 a.m. - Route 3: "Montjuïc and the parallel, fun and diversity of modern Barcelona." We will delve into the most playful and social part of using the northeast slope of the mountain to discover a space of fairs and fountains in past times. Between the theaters of the parallel and the fountains of Montjuïc there was a zone of leisure, fun and sexual freedom not absent from chiaroscuro.
- 17:00h - Route 4: "Montjuïc, a mountain full of life." Route to learn about the geological evolution of the mountain and its current biodiversity, from the garden areas to the forests that dominate the upper part of the mountain. A route to enjoy nature always facing the sea, discovering the flora and fauna that the mountain hides.
COMBINED GUIDED TOUR MONTJUÏC CASTLE - REFUGE 307We will begin the visit to Montjuïc Castle to learn about its role in Barcelona from the end of the 19th century until the end of the civil war. Then you will walk down to Refuge 307, a space built by the residents of Pobles Sec during the war, which allows you to delve deeper into the effects of the bombings and the response of the population and institutions to deal with the new aerial terror.

WE ARE (T)HEREWE ARE (T)HERE starts from an investigation into the voice from a choreographic perspective. the voice and body of the four performers move generating poetic images, acoustic compositions and sound experiments that enable the discovery of space and human relationships through voice and movement, building meaning around collective identity teaching
Pere Jou has a degree in Singing, specializing in countertenor, from the Liceu Superior Conservatory. He also holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Sociology from the University of Barcelona, and has a Master's in Music as an Interdisciplinary Art, from the UB.
Aurora Bauzà holds a degree in Piano from the Superior Conservatory of the Balearic Islands. She also holds a degree in Musicology (University of Granada and Freie Universität Berlin), and has a Master's in Music as an Interdisciplinary Art from the University of Barcelona.

JAZZBETWEENJazzBetween is a session of music and dance to generate a contemporary space for dialogue between Jazz and Non-Jazz, where a space is inhabited from diversity, fun and acceptance of the new poetics of dance and music . JazzBetween is a space open to experimentation and improvisation between sound and movement. JazzBetween is a party. Jazzbetween is a performance. Marina Pravkina is the founder of the JazzBetween project. Based in Barcelona, she is an artist, teacher and choreographer. He began his career in 2006 with the language of house dance, participating in several international festivals. Since then, he has been interested in the styles that are bordering on the idea of footwork and clubbing (house and UK jazz fusion cultures) until he reaches contemporary dance and performance. In 2016, he starts organizing the first JazzBetween meetings, which will end up exporting to Tokyo and Bratislava, despite having its main headquarters in Barcelona.
