AMONG HORSES
A castle overlooking the Mediterranean. An old room full of old microphones. And two artists who don't know each other. This is the starting point of Among Horses, an artistic collaboration project from the Barcelona Son Canciones. They gather two musicians in the Castell de Montjuïc and give them seven days. Seven days to get to know each other, write an EP together and record it. Starting July 13, 2023, the artists B O K E H (New Zealand / Germany) and Richard Andrews (UK / France) will take over the Castell to make the sixth EP in the series. Previous editions have had the collaboration of international artists such as Haley Heynderickx, Max García Conover, Withered Hand, a Singer of Songs, Katy Kirby, Karima Walker, among others.

Everything New Zealander Chloë Lewer touches turns to gold. In 2011 she was playing some songs on the grass of a Berlin park with a partner, and so many people gathered to listen to them that they had no choice but to found the band Charity Children. In the following years they would fill the park every week until they became the cult band par excellence in Berlin. Chloë took advantage of a break from Charity Children to explore new, more electronic sounds under the alias B O K E H. In no time at all, she reached one million listeners on Spotify, and since then her star hasn't stopped shining. She is about to put out her first solo album of hers, Room 42.
Andrew Richards (UK / France)
Andrew Richards is an Englishman based in France who publishes music under the aliases Uniform Motion, Richard Andrews and Inabreath, displaying a wide artistic range as both a writer, performer and producer. Uniform Motion's catchy indie pop tunes catapulted them to great heights between 2010 and 2015, to rave reviews in the press and tours across Europe. But after many years of hectic touring and releasing, Andrew needed a break. He put Uniform Motion on hold and started his solo project. He edited the little electropop masterpiece The golden fascination and founded Inabreath. They have just announced a reunion for the band Uniform Motion, cheered on by their many fans all over the old continent.
