"Nightingale" is a co-production of Graner, and Barcelona City Council in collaboration with Montjuïc Castle and the Grec Festival. The work is a site-specific creation that dialogues intimately with the historical and representational space of Montjuïc Castle. A contemporary dance piece that aims to reflect on absence as a metaphor and, specifically, on the absence of female referents and the invisibility of women in history.
NIGHTINGALE
"A light Someone who takes care of you, a mother, a virgin. White light and plastic. an angel The sound of the machine that takes care of you. Liquids, plastic, whistles. Blue plastic poison Poison that takes care of you. A walking white light. Liquids, blue. A light that walks and leaves. Nun, Virgin, Angel and Death. More light and always plastic.”

Creation and Museums Program
Museums and cultural spaces in the city host, on the occasion of the Greek Festival in Barcelona, all stage proposals from various disciplines that show the creative potential of the artists linked to the factories and creative spaces of the city.
El Graner
El Graner is a center dedicated to the attention of everything that happens in the field of dance and the languages of the body. The mission of a public facility dedicated to creation such as the Graner is to be able to attend to and dialogue with each creative process it hosts. Thus, our efforts are focused on being an open, available and flexible space, capable of generating the right conditions for creation and establishing a fruitful and constant dialogue with our environment.
