Ivet Zwatrzko (Manlleu, 1998) graduated in Humanities from Pompeu Fabra University, specialized in Comparative Literature at the Sorbonne Université in Paris (France) and is currently working on her PhD at La Sapienza - Università di Roma (Italy). She has devoted herself to cultural journalism, has translated poetry and, more recently, has entered the world of literary creation with poems and short stories.
About her residency at the Castle, she says:
From up here, Barcelona appears to me as if I were not part of it. I see almost all of it: white and yellow when it is sunny, grey and green when there are clouds and it is drizzling. Then I go down on foot and suddenly I walk through the streets like veins. It is from that double distance that I want to speak and only a place like the Castle can give it to me.
