MARIO HINOJOS (Mazatlán, Mexico, 1982) has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and a Master's Degree in Historical Culture and Communication. He has published the novels, Animal Domèstic (Trojan Horse /PRH: 2017) and Round d'ombra, V Valladolid National Novel Prize of the Letters Mexico (Horson: 2009). He has worked as a cultural journalist and is currently in charge of the content area of the cultural management company Trànsit Projectes, in Barcelona, where he has lived since 2007.
He is a professor in the Master's in Management of Cultural Institutions and Companies at the UB. Furthermore, he is in charge of the curatorial project of #plantauno, a cultural research centre based in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, where he coordinates, among other initiatives, La Universitat des_coneguda, the centre’s informal academic program.
He collaborated in the i+C+I programming of the CCCB Lab (2011) and in the coordination of SEBALDIANA, the magazine of the exhibition 'Les Variacions Sebald' (Kosmopolis16). Finalist of the 2018 Collita Eñe Award with the short story Cosas mudas.
