Pablo Raphael
A writer and essayist with an undergraduate degree in political science and a PhD in humanities, Pablo Raphael has served as Mexico’s cultural attaché in Spain and Portugal and is a regular contributor to El País, Laberinto, Confabulario, Revuelta and Granta, among other publications.
His published works include his short story collection Agenda del suicidio [Suicide Agenda], which won the Gilberto Owen National Prize, the novels Las jaulas [The Cages] and Clipperton, as well as the essay La fábrica del lenguaje, S.A. [The Language Factory, Ltd], which was shortlisted for the Anagrama Essay Prize.
