    L’Ajuntament de Barcelona, through the Department of Trade, Restaurants and Consumer Affairs, Barcelona City Council is launching a grant scheme with a €1 million budget for the digital transformation of local shops and neighbourhood restaurants.

     ‘Open to the future’ is the training programme in business management and new technologies aimed at professionals in commerce. There are three training itineraries: business strategy and management, digital marketing and its tools and customer-loyalty strategies.

    The Protection and Support Plan for Emblematic Establishments, presented by Barcelona City Council in February 2014 aims to recognise the importance of these unique shops and to collaborate in preserving and promoting them.
