Barcelona City Council

The aim of these subsidies is to develop planning, management and monitoring projects for community-development plans and processes in the City of Barcelona. The period for implementing the projects is from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025.

The projects awarded subsidies must have social cohesion and inclusion as their main goal and be carried out via community initiatives promoting social relations, a sense of belonging or cooperation between members of a specific community space. The projects will foster activities of public or social interest which are intended to transform the following areas:

• Strengthening (empowerment of) the community
• Improving living conditions (responding to needs)
• Social inclusion or cohesion

The project's area of intervention must be within the following neighbourhoods: Barceloneta, Sagrada Família, the Esquerra de l’Eixample, Poble-sec, La Marina de Port, La Marina del Prat Vermell, La Salut, Carmel, El Verdun, Les Roquetes, Navas, La Sagrera, La Verneda i La Pau, Poblenou and El Besòs i El Maresme.

Submission of applications: from 20 February to 11 March, both inclusive
