By the Government measure approved in 2011, the Barcelona City Council is committed to pay its suppliers in a period of 30 days since the receipt presentation in the municipal register of entry. This committed is extended in the year 2014 to the companies subcontracted by these suppliers.

The aim of this measure is to boost business liquidity, facilitating economic recovery and growth and also business competitiveness.
