Review of the Special urban development plan for tourist accommodation (PEUAT)

Accommodation

In 2025, work will begin on the review of the current Special urban development plan for tourist accommodation (PEUAT), which defines and regulates the tourism offer.

In 2025, the City Council will begin the review of the current Special urban development plan for tourist accommodation (PEUAT), which defines and regulates the tourism offer. The review of the PEUAT will be based on the analysis of the following factors: 

  • Impact of the floating population
  • Impact of tourism on public spaces
  • Urban characteristics of the urban fabric
     

The actions will be carried out by zones as follows:

  • ZONA 1: Area of negative growth. No new accommodation of any kind will be allowed , nor any increase in the number of places at existing establishments.
  • ZONA 2: Maintenance of the current number of places and establishments. No expansion of  existing establishments will be allowed.
  • ZONA 3: New establishments may be opened and existing ones may be expanded.
  • ZONA 4: : Other specifically regulated areas. The closure of an existing HUT allows for the opening of another one in ZE 3.
