Third edition of the Mostra Festival

Montjuïc Castle will host a new edition of the Festival on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of March.

We are celebrating a new edition of Mostra, an independent festival of small-scale avant-garde and experimental electronic music, emerging as an alternative to large-scale festivals. An event that directly connects with the sociocultural background and artistic fabric of the city. Local, inclusive, and sustainable.

The name Mostra refers to reflecting what is happening in the Barcelona scene and, at the same time, links to the concept of art, cinema, or theater exhibitions. The project was conceived during the pandemic, a moment full of uncertainties when culture came to a complete halt. In this way, the festival returns to celebrate life with a new cultural proposal for Barcelona, including an electronic music festival and many other parallel activities throughout the year.

A new way of listening to and enjoying the most advanced electronic music is programmed with a festival concept that aims to go beyond the norm: discovering different musical genres and giving visibility to artists who have traditionally been excluded from the Barcelona venue and festival circuit.
