Stamp issued to commemorate the Moscow Spartakiad. The stamp was issued during the period in which the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) was constituted as part of the Soviet Union (USSR), together with Ukraine, Byelorussia and Transcaucasia, according to the bibliography consulted. In the end, the Moscow Spartakiad of 1935 was not held, but in spite of this, the stamp series commemorating these games was issued and put into circulation
