The winner of this year was Jytte Høy (1951). Although she was specialized in sculpture by the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she has also worked in other disciplines. Generally, her work considers the structure of language and its logic. Høy has a wide curriculum, she has taken part in many national exhibitions and during twelve years she has been rector of the Jutland Art Academy in Aarhus.
The welcome texts is an adaptation to a new format of her work Best Wishes. The stamps sends a direct and funny message to all people taking part in the postal service and, of course, the addressee.
