The Mercats TV Channel is an information channel about the products and services of the markets and also other activities and initiatives in the city. This communication channel is transversal throughout the network, since it is broadcast on 100 television screens installed in the 39 market buildings and 2 video walls distributed in Boqueria and Encants-Fira de Bellcaire.

It began broadcasting in June 2021, in a pilot format with a small content loop and, since September 2023, it has broadcast stable programming that is renewed weekly. The contents are information related to the markets, their activities, services, local products, people who work in them, food, healthy lifestyle and advertising content.

The target audience of the channel is both the merchants and the clientele of the markets, and all the contents have been designed so that sound is not necessary, since it is a silent channel that does not interfere or invade the environment within the markets. .
