TV3 premieres 'Gent de mercats' with a visit to the Barceloneta Market
Today, at 11:15 p.m., the third season of ‘Gent de mercats’, a docuserie directed by the gastronomic journalist Tana Collados, premieres on TV3.
The program will visit the Barcelona Market with Elvira and Albert, a young blind couple who like to eat well. They live in Barceloneta and are delighted with the neighborhood for being well adapted and have the market close by. When buying, they value how the paradistas are directed and the attention they show them. We will meet there a couple who three years ago opened a fishmonger: Montse, who had been a butcher, and Jesús, a fisherman. They were encouraged by Cristina, a great defender of the fish market culture who claims the Platgeta, the historic fishermen’s wharf in Barcelona.
The docuserie this year focuses on the markets that are assembled and disassembled. This program was awarded in the category of cultural, informative and documentary program of the XXVI edition of the Zapping Awards for audiovisual quality.
