Emili Vendrell, the voice of a people

29.02.2020
  • Emili Vendrell, la veu del poble

A walk through the life of tenor Emili Vendrell in all its versatility and with a real and live soundtrack: from the popular song to Wagner, through the lieder of Schubert, Schumann and Beethoven, as well as the most popular zarzuelas.

Emili Vendrell, played by actor Ferran Frauca and tenor Roger Padullés, announces to his group of friends the withdrawal of the stages. From this moment the life of the singer develops: learning with Lluís Millet (La cançó del lladre), the first recitals (No et duc rencor), the first criticisms, the zarzuela, the death sentence and his teachers.
