- Tuesday and Wednesday / from 10am to 6pm
- Thursday / from 10am to 9pm (also open on public Thursdays)
- Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays / from 10am to 7pm
- Monday closed
The Museum will remain closed from 12 to 17 August for maintenance work affecting the permanent exhibition.
The ticket offices close 30 minutes before Museum opening hours.
Documentation and Research space closed in August and from December 24 to January 7, both included. The Historical Archive will be closed from July 18 to August 31 (2025).

OPEN-DAYS
The afternoons of every Sunday of the year that the museum is open, from 15h.
Every Thursday evening of the year that the museum is open, from 6pm to 9pm.
The first Sundays of the month.
On February 12 (Santa Eulàlia), March 21 (European Day of Ancient Music), May 18 (International Day of Museums), June 21 (Music Day), September 24 (La Mercè) and November 22 (Saint Cecilia Day).
SPECIAL OPENING TIMES
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on: December 24, December 31 and January 5 (except if applicable on Monday, which will be closed).
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 23 (if not on Monday).
From 12 to 17 August 2025 the Museum will close to carry out annual maintenance work.
Open on Thursdays the schedule will be from 10 am to 9 pm.

UNDER-AGE CHILDREN
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, parent, legal guardian or authorized person, who must also purchase their ticket for the activity and/or visit to the Museum and accompany the minor at all times, ensure their well-being from the moment they enter the Museum until they leave, and leave the Museum with the minor at the end of the visit or activity.

AUDIOGUIDE
The audio guide is free and can be requested at reception.
It contains four themed itineraries in Catalan, Spanish, English and French. The family itinerary is aimed at children aged 6 and over.
DOCUMENTACION AND RESEARCH AREA
Closed from 1 to 31 August.
Library hours: From Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
