The museum has no architectural barriers. Wheelchair-accessible building. The Museu de la Música is on the second floor of the building that houses the concert hall, L’Auditori, and the music school ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya). The entrance is step free and separate from the main entrance to L'Auditori. There are lifts in the foyer to the museum galleries.

There are listening devices in some areas which visitors can use to listen to the instruments inside the display cases.
The interactive gallery allows visitors to interact with some of the instruments including the electric guitar or harp. There is also a model of an organ.

PARKING
There are five reserved and signed street parking spaces (Carrer Padilla) for people with reduced mobility.
ENTRANCE
Access is step free. The glass door is manually operated and 250 cm wide. There are lifts in the lobby to the second floor where the museum is located.
LIFT
The lift door is 180 cm wide. Interior dimensions: 235 cm wide and 200 cm deep. Holds 33 people. The lateral button panels are placed at a height of 130 cm.
RECEPTION
The reception desk is 103 cm high.
MOBILITY INSIDE THE MUSEUM
Disabled visitors can get around the museum without any difficulties. The galleries are very spacious and wheelchair users can move around comfortably between the displays. The floors are carpeted.
The horizontal display cases are 80 cm.

There are seats throughout the museum where visitors can rest and folding stools available to visitors to make the visit more comfortably.
HEARING LOOP
Installed in the Museum front desk in order to improve communication between the visitors with hearing aids and reception staff.
TOILETS
There is an adapted toilet.
The cubicle door is 96 cm wide. There is a fold-down grab bar on the left of the toilet. There is space under the washbasin to provide wheelchair users with frontal access.
CAFÉ AND RESTAURANT
The entrance to the café in the Auditori building outside the museum is step free. Self-service restaurant.
