In a global context where authoritarianism is resurgent, truth is trivialized, and societies face challenges such as misinformation and polarization, Hannah Arendt's ideas about the need for critical judgment and active citizenship take on renewed meaning. Half a century after her death, her legacy invites us not only to reflect on the fragility of democracy, but also to question how we can preserve the fundamental values of freedom and plurality in an increasingly fragmented world.
