Return of the BCN Diverse City meeting

Diversity. A festive gathering with a message, to show, share and enjoy the diversity of the city of Barcelona.

The Barcelona Municipal Immigration Council (CMIB) and the organisations which belong to it are holding a new edition of this event on 14 November, from 10.30 am to 7 pm. This festive occasion is back for another year and geared towards all citizens, making the case for diversity in our city and inviting us to enjoy it and share it.

The central topic for this year’s event is “For an anti-racist Barcelona”, one of the most firmly rooted lines of action for the CMIB and part of its mission and goals, which are to promote coexistence, equality and inclusion, and to combat racism, xenophobia and hate speech in society.

At the site and in the different spaces and gazebos you’ll find numerous activities, such as workshops, talks, exhibitions, parades and traditional games for children and adults alike. There’s also a living library and the reading of a manifesto, and in the auditorium marquee there will be round tables and audio-visuals on the main topic for the meeting.

Here you can find the full programme, with activities throughout the day.

See you there!
