The Government Commission has agreed in its last session (April 30) the approval and publication of the Sustainable Public Procurement Objectives Plan for 2025, witch was proposed by the Commission for Sustainable Public Procurement.

This year, the SPPO 2025 Plan proposes 26 goals to be achieved throughout the current year, with the support of the different cross-cutting areas that participate in its preparation. It also incorporates a series of annexes where, among other subjects, the complete catalog of social clauses, environmental instructions and innovation measures can be consulted, in order to be  available to the contracting bodies so that they can incorporate them in the preparation of their tenders, with an indication in each case of the conditions for their application and the support resources available.

On the other hand, in the same session, the annual target for reserved procurement under the 4th Additional Provision LCSP for 2025 was also agreed and set at 12 million Euros, a figure that represents an  increase of 20% compared to the target set for 2024.
