Feminist methodology booklets
How can we incorporate the gender perspective into municipal plans and programmes? How can we achieve greater balance in culture in the city? These are just a few of the questions answered in the Feminist Methodology Booklets, a collection offering proposals and tools for the feminist transformation of local policies.
The Feminist Methodology Booklets (abbreviated QMF) present methodologies and tools developed by Barcelona City Council to include gender mainstreaming in its operations and public policies. These are tools and proposals that have already been implemented and that incorporate the gender perspective in key areas such as budgets and taxation, awards and distinctions, urban planning, culture and strategic planning.
The QMFs aim to share these proposals with the people in charge of ensuring that the public institutions include the gender perspective in their actions, and with their technical staff, organisations working for gender equality, and academic researchers.
