Antonio Aguilar is the current Head of Communication at the Catalonia and Andorra postal service. But apart from his profession, his passion has always been the history of the mail service. For years he has been collaborating on research and dissemination projects on the postal service, including contributions to the exhibition “Communication networks in Catalonia, past, present and future” at the Cartographic Institute of Catalonia, and to the interactive map of Catalonia’s communication media. His reflections have also been included in works such as: Terrorism by letter, Electronic mail versus traditional mail, two connected networks, and Transporting the mail by railway in Catalonia in the 19th century.
A fascinating interview that offers us a panoramic view of the historical evolution of Catalonia’s postal service and the changes in social communications. Don’t miss it!
