Specialising in books, magazines, trading cards, postcards, films and video games, it is the largest trade fair in this field in the world.
The Dominical de Sant Antoni (The Sant Antoni Sunday market) is a trade fair specialising in a certain type of product: books, magazines, trading cards, postcards, films and video games. It is the largest fair of its kind in the world and only allows the sale of cultural products on paper, magnetic format and video games.
The origin of this fair is also found in those first stalls on Avinguda del Paral·lel, later moved to Carrer d'Urgell and Ronda de Sant Antoni. Some of the current vendors are the grandchildren of those early traders who set it up as a space for selling old books, postcards, stamps and coins, but over time it has adapted to the tastes of the new generations.
The comprehensive rehabilitation of the Sant Antoni market, started in 2009 following the project of the Ravetllat-Ribas Workshop, provided the market with new services for traders and customers at the height of the 20th century and making it much more accessible. The action, however, maintained the same location as the Sunday market. The refurbished market was inaugurated in 2018
