CHARTER - the European Cultural Heritage Skills Alliance - ends its journey in Barcelona.
After four intense years of collaboration—marked by research, analysis, reflection, and many exchanges—it’s time to discuss the project's outcomes, reflect on key learnings, and explore future directions for the cultural heritage sector. The three-day event will include discussions with consortium members, dialogues with local stakeholders from the Catalan heritage sector, as well as site visits and city-walks to help deepen our understanding of the local heritage landscape.
On the 27th, we will gather at the MUHBA -Museum of the History of Barcelona- to reflect on the project’s achievements and gain insights into Catalan heritage landscapes and policies. The 28th will be our Open Conference Day (programme and registration here) in the Aula Magna of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona, where we’ll engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss the CHARTER recommendations. Finally, on the 29th, hosted by the Museu de la Música, we will hold our General Assembly, along with an Expert Advisory Board assessment and a final evaluation session with consortium members.
