A crossroads between sound creation and movement that offers early childhood a peculiar encounter with Baschet instruments: indefinite sound sculptures, assemblies of metals, rods and inflatables, built from everyday elements, but which escape all conventional function to enter an unusual sound universe. Baschet instruments alter the perceptual relationships between form and function, become uncatalogueable instruments and open up a playful space of sound possibilities. In front of them, the boy and girl face a perceptual enigma: the object is present, but cannot be named or classified; its materiality is known, but its sound behavior becomes unusual.
