Square dancing is a form of community dance that emerged, among other places, on the American frontier, where the multicultural mix and lack of resources called for a form of social dance that was open to participation by people with no previous knowledge of the form.
Come and learn about the history of this dance practice, and learn some of the movement, steps, and calls. Bring an instrument and be part of the community band, or just come ready to dance.
