Have you ever wondered if there’s a world beyond what your senses perceive? We live surrounded by imperceptible realities... Thanks to a few everyday devices –radios, televisions, calculators, light bulbs...– we’ll make visible the sonic universe of the electro-magnetic spectrum and we’ll explore its rhytmical and acoustic possibilities in musical creation. In addition to a basic theorical introduction to the principles of the electro-magnetic field, there’ll be a practical demonstration of the sounds coming out of different devices. The participants will record their tests in magnetic tapes that, later on, will be shared online so everybody can have the full archive. A meeting of physics and musics that will offer a nearly-synesthetic way of perception, showing how sound can come out of a light source.
