This temporary exhibition focuses on the figure of Robert Gerhard (1896-1970) to bring us closer to the most versatile Catalan composer (pianist, composer, pedagogue, musicologist, and intellectual). He was one of the most important figures in Catalan, Hispanic and European music of the 20th century.
Developed by Oriol Pérez i Treviño, it will be performed at the Auditori due to the cantata La Pesta. This piece will be played on 26 and 27 March as part of the Orquestra Sinfónica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya's season and as a closing event of the Robert Gerhard year.
