Have you ever heard how a gamelan sounds? It is an instrumental ensemble from the islands of Bali and Java, Indonesia, consisting of percussion instruments and gongs with a rich timbral sound. It is often used to accompany rituals and theater and dance performances, with the whole community participating in making it sound.
In this workshop, you will be able to learn how to play it and discover its fascinating sound.
