Training
Training for those who are raising awareness and providing information to the public is essential. Furthermore, in the event of an assault, it is necessary to be able to treat the person suffering it with the utmost care and confidentiality, making the necessary referrals.
For this reason, depending on the responsibility of the people who are part of it, two types can be distinguished:
- Training for raising awareness and informing the public.
- Training for people who are responsible for addressing situations of sexual and LGBTIphobic aggression that may occur. The training, in addition to being aimed at addressing the person who has been attacked, also requires knowing the services and referrals to make in these situations, as well as identifying the coordination and referral according to each case.
If you are interested in training to set up a purple point, keep an eye on the “carousel” on the page. You can also contact feminist and/or LGBTI organizations in your district that may know about upcoming editions.
