The Office for Non-Discrimination offers to the citizens of Barcelona various types and levels of training on discrimination and human rights. The intention is to offer specialised training in order to look further into certain areas that may be regarded as priorities. It complements other trainings on these issues offered by other public services and organisations in the city.

We develop tools to help people learn about their rights from a theoretical perspective, by recognising and identifying rights’ violations in their everyday personal experiences. The methodology draws from the daily experiences dealt with at the OND. Moreover, it seeks to encourage an active participation and involvement of the attendees of the training courses, valuing difference, fostering dialogue and creating spaces to recognise one another.
