Nitrogen dioxide is a reddish-brown irritant gas with a pungent, acrid smell.
- 60% comes from traffic
- 13% is generated outside the municipality
- 8.3% comes from the industry sector
- 7.6% comes from emissions in the Port
- 11.1% comes from other sources (heating, combustion processes, etc.)
