Barcelona Green Deal features at the Mobile World Congress

City Council. The city’s economic roadmap for the next decade will be presented.

Barcelona City Council is taking part in the new edition of the Mobile World Congress, which is on from 28 June to 1 July. The City Council will be explaining its economic strategy for the next decade, the Barcelona Green Deal, as well as promoting innovation, research and quality of life in the city to attract international talent.

The City Council will be presenting a large map of the city at the congress, showing the location of different transformation projects and specific innovation projects to reactivate ethe city’s economy, all being implemented within the framework of the Barcelona Green Deal. The initiative will also highlight Barcelona’s standing in the various international rankings with the goal of attracting interest and international investment.

28 entrepreneurial projects to promote to the world

The 4Y4N fair features 28 entrepreneurial projects developed at the various Barcelona Activa business incubators in Glòries, Almogàvers and the Media-TIC building. The projects fall within different spheres and are strongly linked to technology and digitalisation.

International campaign to attract talent and strengthen the Barcelona brand

The City Council had started an international communication campaign to attract talent and investment and strengthen the Barcelona brand. The meet.barcelona website has been renewed to strengthen professional aspects, investment and studies aimed at people visiting or wishing to do business in the city.
