A space for proposals to improve the capacity of the Council's contributions to public tourism policies in the city

Labor market and tourism

Debate and analysis of the reality of working conditions in the tourist sector in the city of Barcelona in order to suggest actions to develop.

Use of public space

Reflection and debate about the actions that take place in the public space in large spaces, focussing on the tourist use of the spaces. Three spaces were selected for work: Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia and Rambla del Poblenou.

Mobility

Sessions organized in the framework of the development of the Tourism Mobility Strategy in the city of Barcelona, ​​as a meeting point for the different agents with the aim of collecting ideas and specifying proposals.

Tourist accommodation

Analysis and debate about tourist accommodation and its sustainability and impact on the city, in order to generate recommendations to present to the City Council suggesting actions to be developed.

Strategic Tourism Plan 2020

The Municipal Tourism and City Council, as a stable organ of sectoral participation in the field oftourism policies and strategies in the city, analyzed and debated the new Strategic Plan.
