From 22 August, the city's promotional campaign will target higher-return visitors with the slogan “This is Barcelona.”

The change aligns with the new strategy of targeting higher-value visitors who generate greater social return.
What is Barcelona
This is Barcelona reflects who we are and how we want to be perceived and recognised globally. We aim to present ourselves through the city’s attributes and offerings, rather than in a generic manner as a destination.
The slogan “VisitBarcelona” was introduced in 2009 with the launch of the website to promote the tourist destination. Currently, this portal has 2,620,000 users and receives 8,100,000 visits.
