Dialogue with all economic stakeholders to reactivate the city
Business. The new Taula ReAct meetings are intended to drive projects and jobs.
Following the Barcelona ReAact meetings to drive a new economic model which is more equal, competitive and sustainable within the context of the Barcelona Green Deal, the City Council has set up the Taula ReAct as a regular six-monthly meeting with the city’s main economic stakeholders.
The goal of the meeting is to establish a regular dialogue with all economic sectors to speed up the activation of public-private projects, transform the economy and generate quality jobs. Catalonia’s main businesses will be taking part, as will large companies, SMEs, start-ups, clusters, universities and research centres.
The various economic stakeholders participating in this ongoing dialogue, with sessions every six months as from October 2021, will be divided into different areas of work within the context of the Barcelona Green Deal, which sets out the urban economic agenda for the next decade. The different groups will address aspects of the economic transformation such as technological innovation, the green economy and 4.0 industry.
