Selection of establishments for the Gastronomy Balcony at the Olympic Port completed
Urban planning and infrastructures. The three shops and the last of the eleven planned restaurants are awarded.
The assignation of the three gastronomy shops and the last of the eleven establishments making up the restaurant deck concludes the make-up of the culinary space at the Olympic Port, with its 24,000 square metres of space devoted to quality, culinary diversity and design. The Gastronomy Balcony will be ready for the America’s Cup, in the summer of 2024.
The various gastronomy projects presented were chosen as they complement the range of restaurants, with product variety, interior design and sustainability as essential elements. The shops chosen are:
- Faborit, healthy food premises
- Esferic, ice-cream parlour
- Les Muns, a brand of savoury turnovers
The shops will move into three premises of 85 square metres on the lower floor of the Gastronomy Balcony. Characterised by their glass façade, these premises ensure maximum visibility and transparency for the inside, seeking a dialogue with activity at the port.
High quality and varied range of culinary options
The final restaurant to form part of the Gastronomy Balcony is Vraba, specialising in Catalan cuisine with Asian influences, from Grup Aventura. The full range of cuisine at the restaurant deck will therefore be:
