Hotel terraces are hosting lots of activities in June
The Terraces Week is an event that is eagerly awaited by Barcelona residents and visitors alike.
Terraces Week, held in city hotels, offers over 150 free activities for all city residents.
From 7 to 16 June, Barcelona’s hotels will be welcoming the summer to their terraces. The twelfth edition of Terraces Week is an event that is eagerly awaited by Barcelona residents and visitors alike.
Organised by the Barcelona Hotel Guild with the collaboration of Barcelona City Council, since the first edition in 2010 the event has attracted 400,000 people. The initiative aims to make Barcelona’s hotels feel more accessible to city residents, by holding activities that are of interest to all.
“Since the very first edition, Barcelona residents have made this event their own. For us, being able to share our facilities and our views with them is extraordinary”, says Jordi Clos, chair of the Barcelona Hotel Guild.
The 150 free activities, offered by 65 hotels, include show-cooking, yoga classes, cocktail-making workshops, open-air cinema, family games, magic shows, etc. You can view all of the activities on the MésQHotels website, the Hotels de Barcelona leisure guide and the free Diskover app.
