Europe’s biggest drone show ever, at the Bogatell beach
At the Bogatell beach on 10 October, at 9 pm, with the sea, the wind and sailing taking centre stage.
The Bogatell beach is the scene for ‘Barcelona. Lighthouse to the World’ on 10 October, from 9 pm, the opening ceremony for the final of the America’s Cup. The show includes music, lights and Europe’s biggest ever drone display to offer an exciting journey where the sea, the wind and sailing take centre stage.
Directed by Hansel Cereza, the show features a soundtrack by the composer Albert Guinovart, performed by the orchestra and choir from the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Escolania de Montserrat. There will also be performances from artists such as Sara Blanch and Arnau Tordera, as well as the Castellers de Vilafranca.
Headed by the Fundació Barcelona Capital Nàutica, the celebration forms part of the competition’s legacy projects.
