Tourism. A new tourist information office opens at the Espai Mediterrània in the Estació del Nord.

A new tourist information office is opening at the Espai Medterrània in the Estació del Nord bus station. The office will assist and help handle the flow of travellers arriving in the city as the holiday season begins. It will also promote sustainability and public transport with the aim of centralising all tourist routes into and out of the bus station, decongesting traffic in the city centre.

The office opens from 8.30 am to 2 pm, which is when passenger volumes are highest for both arrivals and departures.

Tourist information offices operated by Turisme de Barcelona are gradually resuming their activity after being closed for a year because of the pandemic. This latest addition brings the current number of offices to twelve, with the one at the Columbus viewing platform about to open too:

  • Plaça de Catalunya (4 offices: Central, South, North and City Tour)
  • Cathedral office
  • Port areas: Booth at the Columbus viewing platform (closed)
  • Plaça d’Espanya
  • Sagrada Família (2)
  • Airport Terminal 1
  • Airport Terminal 2
  • Estació del Nord

The office at Estació de Sants is temporarily closed due to work in the station foyer but is expected to re-open once the work is completed. Offices in Pl. Catalunya and at the airport open all day from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm, while the rest open from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm.
